Road Safety by Vigo Local Police and Vigo Town Hall.

Today Grade 5 students had the great opportunity of attending an English lesson about Road Safety by the Vigo Local Police, within a Educative Program of the Town Hall for Plurilingual Schools in the English Language. We´d like to thank them for offering us this chance.
They first focused on some activities related to Parts of the Street, of both inside and outside the city.
Then, they dealt with some norms for warning safety. They listened and enjoyed engaging activities, as they participated in songs and oral discussions about Road Safety. Road Safety includes the "Green Cross Code", which helped the students learn about `Stop, Look and Listen´ as well as being aware of the dangerous that occur when walking or crossing the streets.
Not only were the students able to expand their existing knowledge in the English Language, but to use it in real life situations.
