Celebrating Martin Luther King JR. Day!

Martin Luther King Junior Day is celebrated every third Monday of January in the USA. Today is meant to honour the man that fought for Peace and Equality in the United States during the Civil Rights Movement in the 1960s. Therefore, we´d like to share information with you about his life in this presentation made by Brenna Eileen Eaton. Besides, here is a link to the famous speech, Martin Luther King JR. made at the Lincoln Memorial Building: "I had a dream..." It´s worth visiting and hearing!

Learning about Charles Dickens. Portraits.

Since we are running a Plurilingual Project beginning with Grade 1, whose aims are to foster communication integrating contents of different areas, as well as to introduce the Classics of Literature, Music, Arts and so on, Grade 1 has been learning about Charles Dickens. Therefore, the first task for the English lesson has been to learn, talk about him and describe his portrait, which they have already painted in the Art lesson.
You can see their portraits in these pictures:

Enjoy them and see you soon.
Cheers.
